The Life Skills Academy has 4 domain areas Community Engagement, Daily Living, Higher Education and Identity & Healthy Relationships. Each domain is color coded to help you to identify and choose a variety of classes that meet your individual needs.
LSA classes are open to young people ages 16-22 unless stated otherwise. young people must register for each class they would like to take. If the class is at capacity, young people will need to wait until the class is offered again to attend.
A course consists of a span of 3-6 classes that cover a particular topic and have a set curriculum. Some courses allow LSA students to take a few classes of the course, others require students to take the entire course. LSA students are given a certificate for attending all classes in a course and are eligible to receive prizes and stipends after they have attended several courses and after they have attended a course in each domain.
