Life Skills Academy is a collaborative, cross system learning network focused on building functional life skills in young people age 16-22 in the Albuquerque Area.
LSA classes are for any young person with focused outreach to populations who may benefit most from development and integration of life skills, including young people experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness, young people with mental health and/or substance use issues, and/or young people with current or past juvenile justice experience.
This is an informative session for all young people who are interested in New Day’s transitional living program. This class is required in order to have a first interview and will be held once a month. Our program expectations and requirements will be explained. Come prepared with all of your questions! Come learn about the conditions, systems and epidemic of trafficking in New Mexico. We will also be providing food and a gift certificate for completion of a focus group for young people experiencing homelessness. 4:30pm-6:30pm
